Center for Minority Health

Minority Student Organization (MSO)

Welcome to our GSPH family!

I hope everyone is as excited as I am about the beginning of this fall semester. I wish to invite you all into the Minority Student Organization, (MSO). Our focus this year is to cater to the “whole” student by providing enjoyable activities as well as academic support. Feel free to sign up for our monthly events via email at mso@pitt.edu, and attend our biweekly study sessions where our students can embrace fellowship, and learning. To our continuing students, I want to especially thank you for your support with helping to make the Minority Student Organization one of the best student groups since its inception in 1996. Again, I welcome and look forward to meeting each of you as we pursue one of the greatest educational experiences in the world. Hail to PITT!

Sincerely,
Fahcina P. Lawson
MSO- President
