Take a Health Professional to the People Day

Locations
On September 18th teams of physicians, nurses, health educators and other public health professionals will spend time in selected barber shops and beauty salons providing life saving information, health screenings and most importantly building TRUST with the community. By focusing our efforts on a single day, we believe we can help generate a greater understanding of the importance of regular health screenings while at the same time focus on people who tend to have the least access to health care.
