Many of the Center's activities during National Minority Health Month are appropriate for the entire family. We are asking that you participate in any of the following ways:
- Browse our website and learn as much as you can about our activities during April and May
- Spread the word, encouraging families and friends to attend events scheduled throughout the month of April and May
- Volunteer. There are numerous activities that need your help
- Host your own activity at your place of business, in your community or in your home during April - National Minority Health Month
- Send CMH information about your health related activities during the month of April so that we can add them to our African American health promotion calendar. Send information to nmhm@cmh.pitt.edu
- Download the Minority Health Month 'toolkit' from our website. This toolkit will assist you in hosting your own minority health month activity
- Encourage your faith-based choir or worship team to participate in our Kick-off musical concert. Call CMH to sign-up
- Encourage your pastor to include a health message in one of the weekly sermons during the month of April and host a health fair after the service
- Visit our website often for updates to our calendar and confirmation of location for our events
